I was there when the flanks were being cut down; I asked why they were cut below the water line, and the water was flooding into the hull; my Polish does not extend to that kind of conversation; I think I have a picture of the water pouring in; I also saw the Fire Engines pumping, but this was a team of labourers each rubbing each other the wrong way and arguing just where the leak was in the pier. Very good work ethic, they used to do 12hr shifts, I think the firm that they worked for, in this case Taylors, had such a work force that cash flow was a problem. I m fairly confident that the information recieved was kosher.
