Nearly got wiped out on the motorbike this PM. People do not know how to use the lanes, if I didn t slap on brakes my front wheel and I would have needed some attention.
Saw your bike... i like it a lot. Got to pass my direct and go for the big guns. You re right I slammed into a mountain rescue land rover about 10 years ago... it was bad I ve only just got back on the bike the other week (new one I have to add)
A head on 4mph or even 2mph tail bump can give severe bruising on the chest and even whiplash neck. Whilst there are maniacs driving around who think it is fun or a dodgem track, the quiet safe driver is going to get into trouble. I lost two friends in motor accidents- others have been injured; it is not helped by poor road design.
Don t worry, it just means we as motorcyclists have to be a bit more aware. There are lots of idiots out there and we just have to remember that. They can inflict damage on bike. car, motorbike even pedestrians we just have to be careful.
