Richards Bros was in business when I left Pz in '74 as I left some of my unfinished colour orders with them...

Well I think it says 1986.

Not so fast, treeve. A google for Richards Bros Penzance returns a review by Frank Ruhrmund of an exhibition of Richards bros work from 1827 to 1977 from which I quote there will be many who will recall being taken to the studio at 2, Queen Street, Penzance, to be photographed by either Eddie or Reggie Richards, who ran the business for more than 40 years, finally closing its doors upon reaching retirement age in 1977 . Perhaps Shah ran the studio as part of his business for the final few years? I recall his studio in Causewayhead in the 1970s but I wasn't around Penzance much in those later days. My father would have known.

Good, a revised date ...

I remember now, Shah did operate from here for some time.

shah did run the studio when i was taking photos but i think that mike courtney bought the studio i was there in the 80s
